Robert Davidovitz is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. In his latest series, "Woven Paint," he uses the traditional technique of hand weaving to create abstract and geometric textiles that explore abstraction, structure and space.
Having graduated from York University's Department of Visual Arts in 2007, Davidovitz has already exhibited his works at the Textile Museum of Canada, Thames Art Gallery and the Gladstone Hotel, to name a few. In his work, Davidovitz aims to challenge his chosen media - and the viewer in the process.
